Flyer details <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/theartssocietyoxford.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/Wyvern-Study-Days-2020.pdf\">Wyvern Study Days 2020<\/a><\/span>.\n\nAttendance is open to all, not just Arts Society members, so if you have a friend or friends who you feel may be interested, please feel free to pass this information on to them.\n\n\n<h4>What is Truth and Beauty in Art?<\/h4>\n\n\n<em>Three specially constructed days, exploring how the concept of truth and beauty in art has changed over time and between cultures.<\/em>\n\n<strong>Day 1<\/strong>: 22 January 2020 - <strong>The Visual Art of Power and Rank at the Chinese Imperial Court<\/strong>, \u00a0Lecturer: David Rosier\n\n<strong>Day 2<\/strong>: 26 February 2020 - <strong>Japanese History, Art and Culture<\/strong>, \u00a0Lecturer: Suzanne Perrin\n\n<strong>Day 3<\/strong>: 24 March 2020 - <strong>European Art, Influences on Perceptions of Value<\/strong>, Lecturer: Chantal Brotherton-Ratcliffe<strong>\n<\/strong>\n\n<strong>Open to both Arts Society members and non-members.<\/strong>\n\n<strong><em>Venue<\/em> <\/strong>for all three Study Days \u2013 The Headley Lecture Theatre, Ashmolean Museum, Oxford.
